Desktop as a Service

17.03.2022

Hyphen has released a new and improved virtualisation offering to make engagements easier and more secure.

Desktop as a Service (DaaS) enables users to work on cloud-based virtual desktops (VDs) from any device, anywhere. This technology offers enhanced security, greater convenience over the life of their engagements, and significantly improves the onboarding process.

Hyphen has servers in Amsterdam, Sydney and Dubai and can also use Microsoft Azure data centres in 60+ regions, more than any other cloud provider. We offer virtual machines (VMs) equipped to handle a variety of needs:

    • General purpose
    • Compute-optimised
    • Memory-optimised
    • Storage-optimised
    • GPU
    • High-performance computing

(For full details of what these VMs can do, please consult the factsheet below)

Our IT offering also comes with plenty of tools as standard – including MS Office365, video conferencing apps and cloud data storage – and can be tailored to offer more, giving users the best possible experience for what they need.

Data is contained in a secure hosted environment, while Hyphen has full access control on virtual desktops and cloud storage, meaning you can be confident your information is safe. Subcontractors can also benefit as they no longer need to wait for client hardware or carry multiple devices because systems can be accessed on any computer connected to the internet.

Hyphen provides user guides and offers full support to ensure that the installation and experience with VDs are as smooth as possible.

Our improved technological offering is simple to use and available now. To find out more, please email us at services@hyphen.group to see what this technology could do for you.
