Hyphen is delighted to announce a new talent partnership with the Misk Foundation as part of the Global Remote Internship Program. 

The scheme will see some of Saudi Arabia’s most talented young professionals join our team on a short-term basis as we help them advance their fledgling careers. Two interns have already been integrated into our staff, with a view to more following suit in the future. 

By being invited to join this initiative, we have joined more than 150 global organisations, including the United Nations, World Bank and various other multinational businesses. More than 450 beneficiaries have completed the programme since its launch. 

Our involvement in the Saudi scheme comes just months after we opened a regional headquarters in the Kingdom’s capital of Riyadh, and it represents our latest connection with what is a key market for us. The Misk Foundation was established in 2011 by HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz to enhance leadership and learning among Saudi youth. 

Avinash Nandakumar, one of our Co-Founders and the GM of our Saudi-based regional headquarters, said: “We are honoured to have been asked to aid in the development of some very talented individuals from Saudi Arabia through this unique and prestigious programme. 

“This is our first collaboration with Misk and we are excited to see what else we can achieve with them. Saudi Arabia is a key territory for us as a business and we are keen to expand our footprint here, and that includes looking at our options in terms of recruitment so everyone at Hyphen is excited to further contribute to the development of the Kingdom.” 

After being approached about the opportunity at the start of April, we spoke with several exceptional individuals before adding two interns to our team. Both have been assigned mentors from their respective departments to accelerate their acclimation and maximise their impact. 

Avinash added: “The calibre of candidates we met with was very high and we were astonished to see just how many high-performing individuals came forward for this opportunity. The interns have only been with us for a short period of time so far, but we have already been impressed by their eagerness and ability to contribute.” 

The organisation of the internships was facilitated by Recruitable, while the Global Remote Internship Program is run by Misk in conjunction with Capital Placement.
