Hyphen has partnered with a mining entrepreneur to work on what could be one of the biggest economic projects in one African country’s history. 

Ambitious plans to kickstart a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programme centred on refining an abundant natural mineral endowment have progressed thanks to our work. 

Executive Advisor Dr. Heinz Pley worked alongside Design team colleagues and an experienced financial consultant to develop a teaser document to generate government interest. 

As well as creating this report, a financial model and high-level numbers were produced to support the client’s vision of a brighter economic future for his homeland. 

The benefits of this programme, if implemented, could include the creation of new jobs, the development of valuable national infrastructure and significant value added compared to the current practice of exporting unrefined raw material. 

The engagement harnessed the talents and experience of the group in several ways – and in turn reiterates the power of cross-functional teams brought together on a flexible basis. There is also the possibility of further future involvement in this project should it continue to process as an investment opportunity.
