Olgierd Syczewski

Olgierd is our Operations Manager and is vital to ensuring our experts, consultants, and clients enjoy the best possible engagement experience.

Responsible for internal process design, development and execution, Olgierd ensures our logistical and administrative functions run efficiently. He does this by automating processes where possible while retaining a focus on the user experience. In addition to overseeing long-term strategic initiatives for the Operations team, he also takes a hands-on role in managing engagements on a day-to-day basis.

Olgierd also takes pride in helping others to realise their potential, and his work makes Hyphen the best it can be. He provides guidance and feedback to junior members of our A-team and offers valuable input that assists other teams on their projects.

Having joined us in September 2020, Olgierd is one of our longest-serving employees and has had a massive impact on our culture and performance. He also served as Communications Coordinator earlier during his Hyphen tenure.

Based in Poland, Olgierd obtained seven years of experience with NGOs in his homeland before joining our team. He coordinated the communications for the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) for two-and-a-half years. A five-year stint with the Center for European Policy Analysis followed, working on the Warsaw office’s programming and development.

Olgierd is an expert in cybersecurity education and disinformation analysis and has authored several internationally recognised reports. He has also conducted educational workshops focusing on cyber-hygiene and deepfake technology in conjunction with the US Embassies in the CEE region. He was also a member of an international working group monitoring disinformation related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
