Head of Strategic Business Development explores commercial opportunities at new 24 Fintech conference

Güneş Aydoğan championed Hyphen’s vision and approach to global finance leaders and tech titans during a productive visit to the 24 Fintech conference.

Our Head of Strategic Business Development met prospective clients to discuss collaboration opportunities and took the chance to see the latest advances in the rapidly growing fintech landscape.

Exploring activity within the financial services sector was a key priority as Hyphen looks to contribute to more projects within this area. The three-day event enabled Güneş to deepen his connections with key players and hear first-hand what organisations in this field are looking to achieve, as well as identifying prospective projects that could benefit from our unique value proposition and flexible engagement models.

More than 26,000 attendees descended on Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the conference, including leading government figures, business chiefs, entrepreneurs and academics. The use of AI and data-driven innovation are crucial topics affecting the fintech marketplace and with many of our clients interested in the latest developments, 24 Fintech enabled us to learn more about what could be next for the benefit of all our partners.

Güneş said: “The financial services sector offers major opportunities for a company like ours with a value proposition like ours and the skill sets internally and in our contractor network. We are keen to expand our activities in this field and it was great to hold some fruitful conversations with key stakeholders at 24 Fintech.

“The business landscape in Saudi Arabia – and more broadly – is changing so quickly that understanding the dynamics of the market is key to providing our clients with the best, most future-ready service we can. With that in mind, the sessions at 24 Fintech were enlightening and have given us plenty of food for thought.”

The event also strengthens our relationship with prominent entities and individuals in Saudi Arabia. Earlier this year we opened our regional headquarters in Riyadh, with projects in the Kingdom – and the Middle East generally – of great interest and significance to our business.

A series of sessions on the evolving financial ecosystem and regulatory environment within Saudi Arabia were very important to understanding where we could contribute to helping the country complete its most significant projects and realise its ambitions for long-term prosperity.

The hundreds of brands, investors and speakers at the debut 24 Fintech conference brought unique perspectives to proceedings, allowing us to see the future of financial technology as well as that of connected industries.

With such a diverse array of attendees, 24 Fintech gave Güneş access to a huge range of prospective clients and potential professional partners and let him explain how Hyphen’s use of cross-functional teams could fit their needs. Reflecting on three days of meetings, exhibits, speeches and more, he believes there are plenty of positives to take away from the conference.

“We can see a lot of opportunities to contribute to projects in this sector, whether they are startups looking to take the next step or larger organisations searching for the expertise they need for their next big projects,” he said.

“It’s always enjoyable to meet creative and industrious people with ambitions to bring growth and change to their market. Getting a real insight into how fintech is developing from those operating within that sector is so useful because there’s always so much going on and so much evolution.
